First really bad review
Ordered this book as an 81st birthday present for a very esteemed professional who is an avid reader and chocolate aficionado. When I opened the envelope the book sleeve was already torn. The birthday is today and so have no other recourse but to present it to him without the torn cover. Will pre-plan and go to brick and mortar stores from now on.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2021I bought this as a gift for a chocolate lover, but found myself loving the history of chocolate too! This is one of the coolest books on chocolate I have ever seen.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2023I purchased this book for my 11 year old who is interested in cooking. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed thumbing through the pages and planned on making the Chocolate Tiramisu--just wanted to notify others that this recipe, in particular, is missing one of the ingredients in the list: heavy whipping cream. A quick consultation with Google yielded a solution. If anybody else encounters this, they must know that the recipe needs 3 cups heavy whipping cream. Happy cooking!
