I purchased this candy for a local bakery to make a construction themed cake for my son. The flavor is more like a sixlet than it is a milk chocolate flavor. Good but not great. It was a little overpriced in my opinion but it looked great on the cake. If I was ordering a cake like this again I’d repurchase these but would not purchase just to eat.

    These chocolate rocks are awesome & the company Hoosier Hill Farm that makes them is just as amazing!!! We just threw a Rock Climbing party for our little boy that was turning 10 and these rock cupcakes were the perfect touch for the rock theme! I included pictures of some of the cupcakes we kept at home for taste testing! We did a light brown buttercream frosting (rock color) and then just stuck in the rocks to give the look of a rock wall. Our daughter wrote "10 rocks!" on the little pennants. The kids loved them and thought they were real rocks, which was great! The chocolate rocks came packed in ice to prevent melting which couldn't have been more perfect during the summer weather. Not to mention the rock chocolates are delicious!     I ordered the 3 lb bag for my daughter who is away at college. She loves these and has been missing home, so I knew she would be thrilled to get them. She was, that is until she opened the bag. It was completely melted and then rehardened into a messy block of garbage. I would definitely be sending it back, but it is not convenient to get it from her. What a disappointment! They are far too expensive to just shrug off. I will send her some more in the winter, but will be ordering from a company that that manufactures the candy so it doesn't melt quite so easily.
