Arrived melted, went into the trash.
Well, I'll never know whether these chocolates were good. They arrived so disgustingly melted that they're going into the trash. I don't know where the shipment originated, but they were sent to Colorado at the end of November, so I wouldn't have expected the weather to make such a mess of them. I ordered some Hersheys around the same time, and they showed up in perfect condition. I'm not one to let a little cosmetic imperfections keep me from enjoying chocolate, but these were beyond consumption.

    Total disappointment. Looks like it sat in the sun, melted, then was thrown around, and the chocolate reformed, and then was shipped. Looks like it was thrownup all over the package. What a waste of time and effort for Valentines. All I can do with it now is throw it away. I would never use this. I took a phone photo, but do not know how to send it to you, but I sure can show everyone how bad it looks.

    I got this as a gift for my husband, and I was so excited to give it to him! I went to where this is made in Switzerland with a friend, and hubby was not with me. My excitement turn to embarrassment and disbelief that IN WINTER this was a MELTED MESS!! What a disappointment to spend this much, and have a terrible example of the product about which I spoke so glowingly! I wish I'd taken a photo to show that this must have been mishandled or stored wrong.

    I got these as a treat for my husband for Valentine's day. He enjoyed them, devouring them in a record amount of time (he can eat a horse and not gain an ounce...not that he would EVER eat a horse...).
    The packaging is GORGEOUS, the chocolates intact and not misshapen. The chocolate quality is very good, with a variety of tastes and chocolate (dark, milk, and white). But next time, I will stick with the "Gold Box National brand", because for the amount of money I paid, I think the "Gold Box" is still the clear winner. I still recommend this product, but only if you get it on a good sale.
