    The 'Tips & Best Practices' section alone is worth the price of the book. I REALLY love a chewy chocolate chip cookie, and mine don't always turn out that way. Ms. Jarreau lists seven things you can do to alter any chocolate chip cookie recipe to be chewier, and three tips for making harder or crunchier cookies. She has obviously spent a lot of time making cookies and perfecting her recipes.

    I really look forward to trying out these recipes the next time I get a serious chocolate chip cookie craving. The only difficulty is going to be deciding which one to start with - Best Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies, Double Dose Chocolate Chip Cookies, Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies, or Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies?

    I've always used one chocolate chip recipe. After reading this cookbook , I realize that there are ways to ensure that I can make the perfect cookie for me. If I' m going to the trouble to bake my own cookies, I might as well do it right. Experienced bakers might not find anything new here, but the average person might learn a trick or two. I will try these recipes.
