Even though these are a great tasting chocolate covered peanut their coating is WAY too thick making it more like a 4-5X dipped-peanut. I have attached a photo of just one peanut which when eating you can not taste or really find the peanut due to the excess of chocolate. We used to tease our Dad that he "liked a little bread with his jam" but this is even more excessive :-( Too bad because they do taste good once I cut off a bit more than half of the chocolate and I am a chocolate lover so I will not be buying these again.

    I’m a new mom. When you’re a new mom you will do anything so your fussy baby will sleep. For me this means letting him fall asleep on me and not moving, no getting up and going anywhere, until he wakes. I’m also perpetually hungry because nursing a baby is hard work. For two months I’ve kept a bag of these next to my chair. It’s my go to treat for his naps. Sometimes this chocolate is the only thing between me and an emotional melt down or certain starvation. They’re amazingly delicious, I have to force myself not to eat the whole bag. The chocolate is perfect, creamy without being too sweet and I think there are peanuts in there somewhere. It’s hard to tell because they’re totally upstaged by the chocolate.

    Order them. You won’t be disappointed. Trust me.

    Currently going through Rehab, because I'm addicted to these Dark Chocolate peanuts. At first, I thought they were okay and stopped eating them. The second time, I was starting to acquire the taste for them. The third time, I couldn't stop eating them. I had to put them away so I wouldn't finish the bag. Now I wake up in the middle of the night craving them. These are too delicious to be legal. Eat these at your own risk.

    EDIT 4/9: Ordered a second bag, this time I bit into one and thought the layers seemed odd in chewing, spat it out to find peanut shell bits. And I don't mean the skin that makes the nuts reddish, I mean the SHELL shell that nobody eats(that I know of) I'm biting them in half before eating for safety, found more than 10 with this issue in the half-cup I ate. Hopefully this is a one-time screw-up.

With the resealable bag and nice size, I bought them for a camping trip...they never made it. They didn't last the 2 weeks at the house. Will buy again once I have lost the 4 extra pounds I gained.
