This was great! This is the first time I made hollow bunnies since I used to make them with my grandmother back in the 90s. It's easy to use. You cut the mould in half, lay it on the rim of a bowl, fill one half with melted chocolate, lay the other half on top, lining up the little guides, then clamp together with binder clips or clothes pins. Flip the mould after 30 seconds and rotate it a bit to make sure the small parts are filled in. Then set in the fridge. Flip every minute for 5 minutes, then every 3 minutes for 4 flips, and then carefully open the mould.
I made 3 bunnies for Easter: one with chocolate melt wafers, one with chocolate chips and shortening, and one with a melted candy bar, and all three worked, though the candy bar one broke too easily when being eaten. What a fun and special memory with my kids!

I bought these for this past easter for making soap and chocolate treats for a party, and they were very popular. I used a smaller version of this bunny from the same company for the past four years, and the mold has pretty much worn out, as to developing cracks. I guess between hot liquids poured in and being stuck in the freezer the limits of plastic show up. That's what cost this review a star - I'd prefer silicone over plastic. Plus it's a little more difficult to remove stuff from the plastic. But otherwise it worked well, and this version's ear is deeper (thicker) and not so likely to break upon removal from the mold.

Do you ever get tired of boring religious holidays? Spice up your spring religious holiday with your very own homemade zombie bunnies! You'll be celebrating the return of life with your own cute bunnies who also have come back from the grave! All you need is white chocolate chips, a sanitized fine brush, and some food grade gel or oil based colouring. It is imperative to avoid getting any kind of moisture (water, steam, condensation, water left on the brush, blood, etc...) in the chocolate as it will seize your chocolate. Melt your chocolate in a double boiler, pour a little in to small cups and mix the colours you want. Paint the bones in white, let cool. paint the blood around the bones and any where your zombie bunny should have battle damage in red, let cool. You can paint the eyes white or black, let cool. Finally mix green in and pour your bunny mould full and assemble. Let everything cool again. Practice makes each bunny better. Chocolate can be substituted for baking "chips" if you like that kind of thing... Finally share your bunny with friends and family, unless your friends and family don't have senses of humour and would disown you immediately.

This is my first chocolate mold, so maybe I'm doing something wrong, if you put it on the table, it's uneven by a whole lot. so you have to prop it up on the one side to make it level. Then when you put it in the fridge, basically forget about it. The back of the bunnies are uneven due to shifting chocolate in the fridge. I tried to prop it up as level as possible, but it was not perfect. Other than that, the front of the bunnies looks nice. And you can get good quality chocolate wafers for less than $5 a pound, but to purchase a 1lb bunny from the store with good chocolate, it's about $20 or more, so this will save you a ton of money and be a good project with the kids.

I love that I can make my own Easter Bunnies for my kids. I can use chocolate that I pick out as most of the ones you buy pre-made in the stores have a bunch of junk in them. These arrived really fast and they were what I expected.

I loved this, I have used it four years in a row for Easter bunnies. The back of the bunnies are flat, but it's great. I actually pour chocolate then put a powder sugar/peanut butter mixture in the middle then chocolate again because it takes a lot of chocolate!

mold is nice and sturdy but it does not sit level. when making chocolate the chocolate runs out of the ears. i took a couple clothe line clips and taped them to make this mold more level during cooling

could not figure out how to add photo so you could see how uneven it sits

The first, and best, thing to say about this product is that it is made of some very nice quality plastic. It's not going to hold up to being ripped at, but it'll take normal use for a good long time.

The bad thing is that its sturdiness causes it to spring apart while in use without the heftiest of clips to hold it shut (I use binder clips.)
