Rich Tasting Chocolate Carmel and Sea Salt Candies, packages nicely in a gift box!
These vegan dark chocolate sea salt candies have a nice rich taste. They come packaged in a nice box, that would make for a great gift option. Inside the box there are three wrapped packages with these delicious chocolate candies. Inside each wrapper there are two carmel chocolate candy pieces. They are sort of placed on a small little tray within the wrapper, it makes for a nice display. The candies them self are a little on the chewy side. Which is fine, but it is a little bit of effort when trying to chew it into half. It is probably better to chew the whole piece at once. I rated this box of chocolate a four star because there were only three packages of these inside the box. Within each wrapper there are only two chewy carmel candies. As these were packaged so nicely in a gift box, I was hoping there would be a at least one if not two more packs included. The chocolate/carmel candy it self tastes great and has a nice rich flavor with a hint of salt. Very enjoyable and it is perfect that it is vegan so I can share it with friends that do not eat dairy. I purchased these candies discounted in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

    I just received these caramels today and could not wait
    to taste them. 2 came in a package and I received 4 packages
    with this order. They are salted dark chocolate with caramel
    inside. Hate to tell people my personal stuff, but I have upper
    dentures and was having a hard time biting down on this. So I just
    put the whole thing in my mouth. They aren't that big. The first taste I
    got was the salty taste. I don't use salt that much because I don't care for
    it. Just on certain things. But this salt taste wasn't powerful at all. Then I got
    inside to the caramel. Really did taste good. I kept moving it around in my mouth
    so it wouldn't stick to my denture. But even though it was caramel, it didn't seem
    like it wanted to stick to my denture. These really are good. I only gave it 4 stars was
    because of the price. I got these to review, but I would never pay the full price for these.

    Whether you are vegan or just like the taste of dark chocolate, caramel, and sea salt together, these Amella Vegan Dark Chocolate Gray Sea Salt Caramels might be what you are looking for. Since these are packaged in four separate packages with two candies in each one, you can share these or put them in your desk at work for a sweet bite. I prefer milk chocolate to dark chocolate, but this has a good taste but not very sweet. It may be because this is a vegan product, but the chocolate stays really soft and melts immediately on your fingers. The gray sea salt is a nice touch, and it tastes good with the caramel, which is nice and chewy. I think these candies are a little pricey for only four small packages. I think it's a great feature that the wrappers are compostable and the tray is recyclable. Overall, it's a good product. I purchased this product at a promotional discount price for testing purposes and for my honest review.

    Sea salt & caramel is a great combination, so I was really looking forward to trying these. These are very firm caramels, dipped in a layer of dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt. Since my preference is to have a higher chocolate to caramel ratio and these are the opposite, these weren't a personal favorite of mine, but I'm sure a caramel lover would disagree with me. I also felt like there was a bit too much salt. Overall the flavor was good, I would just prefer less and slightly softer caramel, more chocolate, and less salt. It's hard to find chocolate without soy, but to my delight, there is no soy in this product, and nearly all the ingredients are organic. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion.
