Bought these for a project for my daughter. I don't bake in stuff like this nor would I put food in them regardless of what their free of. We used these for melting down her broken crayons. I only baked in these at 300 degrees and they came out warped on the ends with one side going up the other down causing the wax to run out or into the other molds- don't know how they with stand up to 445 degrees if they end up warping at 300. They also absorbed some of the coloring and had a white coating that would not come out no matter how much I washed them. They worked for what we wanted and I will use them again for this not anything edible.

    These molds worked perfectly. What a great value set. I really only needed the dinosaur set but for the price you can't go wrong. I'm sure that I will use the other molds since I make cakes for so many family and friends. Decorating with candies is a fun and easy way to add flair to a cake or as cupcake toppers.

    I used Wilton candy melts and the molds worked beautifully. The candies were smooth with all the detail. The flexible silicone allowed me to stretch the mold just a little to help the candies release. In between batches I just rinsed the mold with really hot water to melt the candy. At the end of the day I washed with soap and water and it dried quickly.

    I bought these to make Jello Gummy treats. I played a lot and made roughly 20 boxes worth, which means I re-used all six of these molds about 8 times over. In all the tries, minus the one where I did not let the jello heat up enough, they worked flawlessly. I did chill them in the freezer for 10 minutes prior to removing the gummies and they removed very easily. I loved the designs and I even purchased another set as a gift. They are thin but that does not matter. I place them onto a cookie sheet prior to getting them into the freezer and I had not one bit of a problem. Very nice designs, very nice product, especially for the price. I will buy additional shapes for no other reason than for the novelty.

    These items took a bit to arrive - that said, i was kept up-to-date reasonably well as the seller worked to send my product out to me.

    I purchased these to use as molds for my LCHF (low carb high fat) fat bombs. Having to replace tray after tray of plastic molds with just a single use became tedious and expensive, so I decided to pay a bit more and invest in these silicone molds. I am so glad I did. This set contains shapes for virtually every occasion or interest (my favorite is the robot-themed tray...so stinkin cute!). Filling and removal are painless. After allowing my fat bombs to set up a few hours in the fridge, I was able to give the tray a slight tug in each direction then flip it out onto a clean plate and the shapes popped right out fully intact! I do recommend washing them immediately after using them though, as the crevices which give each shape wonderful detail can be challenging to clean thoroughly if allowed to sit too long.

    **** UPDATE****
    Here I am a year later and I am amazed at how well these molds have held up. I use them at least 1-2 times a week and they are not showing an ounce of wear. I'm not sure what type of voodoo was involved in their production but who cares...they are PERFECT!

    I would give 0 star if there is an option. I used these gummy jelly for my children. They liked it a lot because the shape are unique and pretty. And I washed and dried on the sun exposed spot (where my dish rack is) and put those in my cabinet. A couple days later I was going to make an other batch of gummy jelly. As soon as took these out from the cabinet what I see was green and black mold every corner. I used brush, very hot water and detergent to wash out all the mold. Took me 30 min to clean all these mold. Since then I've never used. So annoying

    I purchased these molds to be used in making gummies and they are excellent for that. I used the simple gummy recipe:

    1 three oz package of Jolly Rancher Jello (Do Not Use Sugar Free Jello)
    1 package of knox unflavored gelatin
    1/3 cup water

    Mix gelatin in water and let stand for 10 minutes to allow the gelatin to soak up water.
    Stir mixture and then microwave on high for 30 seconds.
    Stir mixture and again microwave on high for 30 seconds.
    Stir mixture. If it is not well mixed, microwave on high for an additional 15 seconds.
    After mixture is well mixed, pour into candy molds. Place molds in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes or freezer for 10-15 minutes to set. Pop them out of the silicone molds and enjoy.

    If you want to make larger batches, just multiply the recipe and microwave in 30 second intervals until the gelatin is properly mixed.
