    These are fabulous. Love the taste. Love the price. I keep these in a plastic container near me and grab one or two when I want one. I agree w/the comment that it comes in a plastic bag with tape as a closure. This is fine with me as I tend to repackage things to suit my needs and it, also, keeps the price down. Keep up the good work, SweetGourmet or Bayside Candy.

    Update on 6-7-13. Ordered a second order of 5 lbs. It was due between today and the 24th. I received it yesterday. It came with 2 ice packets so the candy wouldn't melt. This order was purchased for an upcoming road trip with my family. We have to have things to munch on. ;-) Continued great customer service. Will continue to order from you. Thanks

    I decided to take a shot on these to fulfill my sweet tooth and I'm glad I did. These have plenty of chocolate coating/flavor, but I think it overwhelms the almond a little and are not quite as good as more expensive brands. However, these offer much better value and I think the flavor difference is minimal so will be ordering these again.

    Well, I do not know what anybody else got, however let me tell you what I got. First, these dark chocolate almonds came totally melted. Not to be discouraged, I put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours then took a look at them. The best way to describe what I then had is chocolate bark. So, I like chocolate bark so I thought I would make the best of a bad situation. I saw the question someone asked about what are the ingredients. Someone answered with a list of ingredients that did not look bad at all. Well let me tell you, that is not what is in mine. My ingredient list is as follows, Sugar, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, & PGPR,
    ( Emulsifiers ), Almonds ( Roasted in Cottonseed Oil ), Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils ( Palm Kernel, Coconut, Palm ), Cocoa ( May Be Processed With Alkali ), Whey Powder, Vanilla Flavor, Corn Syrup, Gum Arabic, Confectioner's Glaze. I am 70 years old and am very careful what I eat so I don't plug up my arteries. As of last week they are in good shape. Unfortunately, I will be throwing these away. Anyone who knows about nutrition will know that there are ingredients that are not good for the arteries like Partially Hydrogenated oils.
    If there had been an ingredient list posted for this item I would not have bought them. Oh well, I will keep looking.

    Dark chocolate is good for you. Almonds are good for you. The two together taste great. Sincerely Nuts' Nutrition Facts looked fine: no cholesterol, no sodium, and fat content, both total (18%) and saturated (23%), which could be expected. But now the Ingredients, which include corn syrup, granulated sugar, and cottonseed oil -- all of it bad for you, none of it necessary. So the bad subverts the good.

    In the interest of full disclosure, let me tell you that I love, love, love very dark chocolate. These were perfect for me, but might taste too bitter for someone who doesn't love dark chocolate the way I do. I ate these as part of my morning diet of almonds and they were definitely NOT sweet in my opinion. The extra caffeine from the chocolate was also appreciated. I found them to be perfection.

    Tastes pretty good, but I noticed when I mix them in oatmeal there was a thick, hard oil in the chocolate that didn't mix right away. Maybe just a fluke though, because I haven't noticed it since then. There are no ingredients or nutrition information listed on the packaging.
