    This didn't come with instructions. After making the product, it was very heavy as I did solid candy. Today after going back through the reviews, I discovered I could have made it hollow - which would have been wonderful since it was so heavy that it sank into my daughters cake (it was the topper). The finished shoe itself was pretty once I decorated it though!

    I am giving it 3 stars as while okay for a mold, it didn't come with instructions or the packaging shown. It just came as 2 pieces in a box leaving me to guess on how to make it. I have used candy molds before but none this large so it didn't occur to me that the finished product would be heavy. I see that now and love the pictures in the reviews of other users. I can totally see how I could have made it better now. Partly my fault for not reading all the reviews completely but I feel that even so, the product could have come to me with the instructions.

    Fabulous, but 4 stars due to 2 major flaws in design.
    1. They are really a pain to line up properly and especially to cut down to a usable size, but once the adjustment is done and the mold is ready, it's great.
    2. the way the molds line up as separate pieces leaves a large seam down the front of the shoe. Although the same seam exists in the back, it's just not as noticeable or problematic. But the seam straight down the center of front toe is an eyesore, requiring creative ways to disguise it.

    Now, truth be told these issues would likely not exist if you invested in a 3D polycarbonate version of this mold, which is around 5 times the price. So these minor flaws are fair given the price of this mold. But just a heads up that if you want it ready to use straight out of the box, and need a professional, flawless finish on the end product, you will need a professional grade 3d mold instead.

    Awesome! I made several shoes with these molds. Nice size! When using this mold, think outside of the box. I wanted an open shoe to fill with candy so I trimmed the shoe opening and poured the melted chocolate in. Worked like a charm.
