I have to admit that I'm a bit insane over chocolate and as I've "aged out" of milk chocolate, my taste buds have over time demanded a finer quality product. I found Taza in a retail store in Manhattan and must admit that their candy bars were a bit strange to me because of their unique taste/texture but became quite pleasing over time. I recently went to on a tour at their factory (and yes you should too; lots of free samples) and found these nuts. They are superb. The combination of the nut and the very fine dairy-free dark chocolate was absolutely delicious. It went beyond a sweet craving. The crunch of the nut and the earthiness of the chocolate made it a very pleasing treat. I've handed out a few to about a dozen friends who all universally had the same reaction; "Wow! These are EXCELLENT!". You just know youre not eating mass produced candy. This really is the good stuff. It's the kind you hide from your kids and keep in a drawer where others wont help themselves to it. In a word: bite.
