From a cost standpoint, these weren't a steal, but they were certainly priced right. I keep a Glad-bag full of these in my car and at least 10 with me when I hike. (At over 2.5 pounds, you have no idea how big this 50 ounce bag is!) While I'm sure that most people buy these for a candy dish in an office or for company, I use them for hiking and long drives. I have a tendency to not drink enough or even bring enough water on my (almost) daily hikes. Well, these LifeSavers can be "life savers" in a very loose sense. When I'm completing a 5 mile hike in the hills, and have no water, one or two of these will get the juices flowing. The same is true on a long trip in the car, only it's the lack of humidity that dries me out.

I wish they would also have these in Spearmint (Spear-O-Mint???), but considering that this is only my second order in two years, I'd say I was pacing myself well and haven't ever tired of the flavor.

Each administrative assistant in my office seems to have a bowl of candy on their credenza, inviting all comers to partake. I decided to refill just a portion of the amount I “borrow” from each of them and bought this economy bag here on Amazon. You should note these candies are very addictive: you just can’t eat one.

In addition to an addictive flavor, the price each in this large format is a lot cheaper than the big discount store where I live, plus with “free” Prime shipping I don’t have to go to the store. If you’re looking for a good candy at an economical price, I would recommend this package.

I love these mints, especially the Wint-O-Green flavor. I always keep them around the house and often enjoy a mint after a meal; it seems like the perfect way to wrap up a nice meal. They're also great for mid-afternoon snacks when one has a case of the hungries and wants to minimize the calories.

The nutrition facts on the package give the serving size as four mints although I usually eat one at a time after a meal. Four pieces have 60 calories so one would only have 15 calories, not bad for a snack substitute. As is usual with many candies there is no fat and no sodium. Also of interest to me was the fact they're made in Canada, not China.

My wife and our guests seem to like them too and I'm always pleased when guests help themselves to a mint when they're over for a visit. We keep a bowl of them out on the kitchen counter.

I've noticed that not all stores carry the Wint-O-Green flavor and some stores that do seem to be out when I drop by to re-stock; they must be popular because the Wint-O-Green display will be empty and the Pep-O-Mint display will be full. I suppose I can understand that because they do taste better to me too.

I like the idea of the large bag since that requires fewer trips to the store, and I particularly like the idea that I can order them now from Amazon on my computer and save the gas money. The price also is better than the sale price at most stores.

Really a teterrific price. And my husband and I are really quite happy to not be at the mercy of the little markets for these nice little breath mints any more.
I'm going to have to admit to not being overly happy with the packaging. We are talking about a lot of plastic, and I'd probably be happier with a bag of the rolls like what you buy at the bodega, but what can you do? I personally will hope that others agree with this and voice their opinions as well.

These are literally lifesavers for life savers! I work in the ED in a very busy, but awesome, children's hospital. I always have a pocket full when I am at work. If you know anything about nursing, you know 12 hr shifts can get long and busy! We often don't have time for water breaks. I use these to freshen up my breath after morning coffee, hand out to my fellow staff ( aka bribe some kind soul with a mint to take my vital signs or walk my kids over to xray), give to a parent who has been sitting in the dept all night after they frantically ran out of their house to bring their kid to the ED in the middle of the night while in their pjs... I keep these handy so we can have a nice treat. Besides, who doesn't want nice fresh breath when they are saving lives!?
