    Founded in Los Angeles, CA in 1968, our family’s natural aluminum bakeware became the standard for commercial bakeries, chefs, and private labels for many of the leading brands and distributors around the world.

    Glad I found these. Good size, shape, and value. They work perfectly with chocolate transfer sheets. I've also cut an impression mat to fit into mold and that turned out as well. Use Lindt couverture found on this site and have had many compliments on my chocolates.

      Excellent product, but it really should come with another piece to safely scrape the tops off (to make the chocolates flat). I felt like this was marketed towards novice chocolate makers; which is great, but they also probably don't have anything to flatten the chocolates with... I ended up using the back side of a butcher's knife.

      I'm relatively new to this whole molding thing. I saw some videos about magnetic molds, thought it sounded like a great upgrade over flimsy silicon molds.

      I don't know if I received an unlucky bad item, or if this is exactly how they're designed, but this cannot be a good idea.

      The magnetic base, described as "highly polished", is essentially a razor blade. All the way around the entire rectangle, the edges are literally a razor. Like I separated it to wash, put barely any pressure on the edges while holding it, and sliced 4 of my 10 fingers.

      I could use this base to shave my face. I could use this base to slice tomatoes. It is really that sharp.

      Again, perhaps this was a manufacturing defect and I'm just unlucky. I don't see why this piece couldn't also be made of graphite/plastic, or at least surrounded safely by it.

      Good luck washing it. You can't grasp onto it or you'll lose a finger.

      2 stars because after cleaning off blood and washing with gloves on, chocolate actually came out pretty awesome.

      I should say that had I received the correct item, I would have rated it 5 stars anyway. Amazon sent me the round bon bon instead but all of my Fat Daddio's polycarbonate molds are fabulous. This one should be no different. Clean release with crisp edges, excellent product.

      I cannot say enough good things about Fat Daddio products. The cavities in this mold are much larger than I expected. I'm not sure I want to use it for candy pieces that big, but will certainly be using them for small desserts like dark chocolate mousse.
