    These are the same mini chocolates sold in airports around the world, they just come in a blue gift box instead of the typical clear plastic rectangular box available in free shops. The price around $20, especially if you deduct the 15% coupon available at the time of my purchase, is not bad at all. At 6 grams per chocolate and 70 chocolates in a box, that is 420 grams or about 4 traditional chocolate tablet. At 3 to 4 dollar the chocolate tablet in an average grocery store, the cost of these miniatures with the coupon applied is basically the same. As far as taste, Lindt is among the best of the best, regardless of the flavor. I personally regard the milk variety as my old time favorite, along with Belgium's Cote d'Or. I love the variety and the convenience of the size, especially if you have a tendency to easily overindulge. I just allow myself 5 a day. Great product.

    Disappointing - the nicest part is the box itself. It is not cello wrapped so there is no way to know that the package has not been opened. Mine seems to be light on chocolate - perhaps just settling. Anyway I thought I as purchasing a much nicer gift. Glad I didn't send it directly to the recipient.

    The actual combined weight of the (very) small bars included in this box is less than a pound (13.6 ounces to be exact). The very nice, decorative box holds a variety of flavors, but even they are just loose in the box. I don't think folks would be to impressed with this as a gift, since Lindt hasn't even figured out a way to secure the contents for proper presentation. I'd buy a variety of larger bars next time, this was not worth the money (even as an instant deal). I think its a bit misleading to even call these bars, since they are about the size of Halloween fun size chocolate bars. The size of these bars would be easy to overlook as a stocking stuffer for the holidays, which is what I originally intended. The chocolate is excellent, there is just too little of it, and the presentation once you open the box is not impressive at all.

    First the facts: Pretty presentation in a classy blue box with gold trim. Total weight is about one pound with six different flavors ranging from white chocolate to dark/bittersweet with a variety of milk chocolates (nuts/no nuts) in between. Box contains 70 bars: each bar is about 1-1/2" wide by 1" tall and about 1/4" thick.

    This is one of those items that one needs to weigh out if the price is worth the novelty. In my case, it was definitely worth it. Every year as I was growing up, my siblings and I would watch the mail for the boxes with the red and blue stripes (international/air mail) to arrive from Switzerland from my aunts and uncles. These boxes held an assortment of amazing chocolates in various shapes and sizes that were saved specifically for Christmas. The chocolate ornaments that would hang on the tree were our favorites, but next in line were the mini bars that offered a variety of bite-sized flavors.

    I continued the tradition of the Swiss chocolates at Christmas with my own children even though those special boxes no longer arrive in the mail to trigger the holiday season. The chocolate ornaments are becoming harder and harder to find but the full sized bars can be found almost anywhere. I have shied away from this Navy Gift Box for a few years - mainly for the price - but I opted to splurge this year and ordered it. I wish I would have done it years ago.

    My sons got the biggest kick out of these... i watched as the carefully opened the wrapper to remove the treasure inside and then carefully press the wrapper flat with their hands to read the label - just as my siblings and I did years ago. Yes, it is only a one-pound box, and yes, it is a little pricey, but this little box was the hit of the Christmas dessert table - and as long as Amazon makes it available, it will take the center position on the table for years to come.

    Chocolate was a little melted when it arrived but firmed up. The reason for the two stars was due to the lack of assortment. In the box of 70, I had 3 dark chocolate pieces. Probably 60% were milk chocolate. I think there were 6 pieces of white chocolate.
    The chocolate was good, just lacking the assortment.
