I bought this product when I was a kid 60 years ago. I’d put it in the freezer, wait a couple of days, bang the unopened package on a hard surface, then open it up and eat the shards. A wonderful childhood experience. Not with this product, however. The taffy arrived stuck to the internal packaging (paper), and it was next to impossible to separate. After being frustrated with the first three bars, I just surrendered and threw it in the trashcan. Might be OK if you purchase this in the dead of winter but don’t order it in any other season because of temperatures during shipping.

    Great flavor but the paper was stuck to the candy it was so hard to eat. Put it in the refrigerator to help it harden, it helped a bit but packaging really needs work.

    I ate a lot of Turkish taffy in the '60s - this is nothing like the original - this is mushy and has a different flavor - someone's milking the old brand name with a different product.
