I grabbed a 7 oz. box of these dark delicious chocolate covered marshmallows today at Trader Joe’s for $2.99. I am not sure if these are seasonal or carried year ’round; they just weren’t with the holiday candy. The box is very desirable however I was a little surprised that there were only twenty items inside. The chocolate is great and the marshmallows are delicious but they are absolutely not “light and fluffy” as the box vows. They are much denser than the bagged marshmallows, virtually like marshmallow fluff. I think I was expecting something much more like homemade marshmallows. They are still delicious and enjoyable to consume and are very great dissolved in a mug of warm delicious chocolate. I want they can be found in peppermint taste! Each 1 oz offering of 3 items has 120 calories and 3g of fat.
Actually impressive dark chocolate covered marshmallows. The marshmallows are simply the right amount of chewy and the chocolate, while not eye-catching good enough for a treat show, is clearly good quality. Not ceraceous or disorganized. These are really the ideal chocolate-covered marshmallows. Will most definitely buy again.
